About the exhibition:
Mr. and Mrs. Parker B. Poe shared an appreciation for art depicting the culture and lifestyle that they enjoyed in South Georgia, but their personal collections were very different. This curator-led tour will cast light on Mr. Poe’s eclectic tastes, his patronage to a broad art community, and his philanthropy towards the cultural resources of Thomasville, Georgia.
The Parker B. Poe Collection is on loan from the Thomasville Center for the Arts.
