Beloved Thomasville native Mary Ann Murphy will be returning to the City of Roses for a wonderful needlepoint workshop for advanced needlepoint students! Join Mary Ann in the Pebble Hill Plantation Learning Center as you design and create your own custom needlework Dog Collar Canvas or Thomasville Ornament Canvas. You may order additional canvases from Mary Ann Murphy.

Option #1 – Dog Collar Canvas
Ticket Fee: $200
*Ticket price includes all class materials but does not include dog collar finishing fee.
Supplies: Please bring sewing scissors and magnification, if needed. All other supplies provided at the time of the class.
**This workshop must meet required minimum class size or the workshop will be cancelled. Registrants will be refunded in the event the workshop is cancelled.
In keeping with the Identity & Restraint: Art of the Dog Collar exhibit in the Pebble Hill Plantation Elisabeth Ireland Poe Gallery, Mary Ann is offering the option to stich your own dog collar for your favorite family member. Participants will choose one of four design options and includes your dog’s name personalization on a hand-painted #18 mono canvas. The class fee does not include complete collar finishing (leather and buckle finishing). Matching retractable leashes may be available during the class for an extra fee. These collars are not recommended for working dogs.
Option #2 – Thomasville Ornament Canvas

Mary Ann has hand-painted this one-of-a-kind Thomasville Ornament Canvas that showcases many of the beautiful iconic landmarks we all love! In this class, participants will learn the stitches to complete this needlepoint project on a four-inch round, hand-painted #18 mono canvas. The class fee does not include complete ornament finishing.
